The series proceeds by categories, such as Ag-X-Y or Mg-X-Y,  which - to the best of our knowledge - cover all systems which have had the attention of experimentalists. To critically evaluate the estimated 50.000 publications on ternary phase diagrams is a truly international challenge and the evaluation program always has been understood this way. 

At present 18 volumes of this series were published with the last three volumes being topical monographs on Mg-X-Y systems. 

For the future, more topical monographs are under preparation.

    Ternary Alloys proceeds category-wise and covers comprehensively all ternary system ever investigated.
